all things that start with 'S'

i went snowboarding for the second time in my entire life last weekend. i love it because no matter how steep the incline - you can still get down that hill without falling. even if you're scraping the moguls off the moguls, standing straight legged, perpendicular to the hill, shaking your fist at the 4 year olds passing you on their foot long skiis.
it's weird that i have a harder time trying to control the board when the ground is even. made for some impressive bail outs.
(ie. board spinning like a helicopter with me attached.)
And after all this, the only bruise i have to show was from jamming my knee into the shift stick trying to pull the board out from the backseat...
