Robot Sushi wins

Robot Sushi - a drinking establishments answer to japanese pop culture. i had a sparkling strawberry sake cocktail, listened to a couple of guys hunched over at the bar arguing over whether or not a philosopher should be removed from society in order to fully comprehend it.
'a fish doesn't know how big the ocean is unless he leaves it'.
and also the interior designers had an Astro Boy fetish.

Misty's Place - another jap-pop inspired pub-ette. i had an overpriced but well made wasabi bloody mary. he used a juicer for the lemon in the drink.

Bambu - we were walking down yet another dark alley - squinting at numbers on brick walls.
so we ask a guy in a black trenchcoat standing in a doorway.
he was the bouncer for the club we were looking for. no sign above the door. no number.

just came from watching anime shorts from MIFF (Melbourne Film Festival).
off to Loop.
