mybestkungfu's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stealing the menus from Lounge 32 Mean, how was your weekend? i just read the Jeremy newsletter. that was a good idea. except for the part where it sounds like i just booted your ass out and left you in the cold...but i guess it's your newsletter after all - you could write about how i stole your money and clothes and gave you VD if you wanted... hope something fruitful comes of the Maya convention.I know you miss the 3D industry. didn't make it to the 'comedy cellar' this weekend- but thank you for recommending. i did hear that it was a cool place to go in Manhattan. i saw a side of NY though that i didn't know existed - in Queens there are nice, quiet, green treelined streets and parks with families sitting by the river and old men with feathered hats ambling along the sidewalks - canes in hand. Jorge and i played basketball and sparred in the park. I taught him the monkey stance (yoga move). He taught me how to make potential muggers. took lots of pictures. picked up a book by Hemingway too - 'true at first light'. there is a beautiful line in this book that talks about what's true at first light and a lie by noon...(referring to a mirage). It's about his experiences in Africa. How are you doing with 'a movable feast'? i'm glad that you are exploring varied venues of thought. Got new baby turtles! named them Yoshimi and Toshiro. they're so cute i could puree them. - discovered sake. insane. love that nail polish remover smell. I'm sure it tastes the same. The server also tried to pawn off a plum wine that was supposed to be sake but wasn't. - went to a spanish/chinese restaurant. all the waiters are chinese but they speak spanish too. tell me how your vacation plans are going. have some good clean fun in thailand. much non hatred, ex-bum. 12:19 p.m. - May. 20, 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
