glad to be home

back from a long week in Vancouver.
the funeral wasn't as horrible as i thought. i guess it makes a difference when there are lots of family around for support.
i'm beat.
i loved the city. enough to move there.
i like talking about wine, armani suites and 63 year old sugar daddies at the dinner table.
i like home made biscotti.

actual conversation between a 3 year old and his father..
3 year old: (playing with a toy car)
"vroom vrrooom VRROOOOM!!! VRROOOOOOM!!'
father: "that's too loud J, use your inside voice...besides there's a muffler on that car."
3 year old: "VROOOMMM VROOM! yeah, but there's a hole in it!".
