i was watching CSI miami the other day
and they were in the hood and some old guy got his bodega bombed - and some copper said something like 'he's been in america for 30 years, if he would have learned a little english...'
and the tokin' spanish guy in the task force gets all up in his face and yells
'yeah, well how's YOUR spanish?!'

and i think - pretty fucking perfect if I lived in a spanish speaking country for 30 years. DUDE!

the bottom line is, language is third best vehicle for communication (after cocaine and telepathy).
and if you can't manage it, you have no one else to blame when the sexy senioritas are pointedly ignoring you and your water-cooler jug of pennies.
