mybestkungfu's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mind over matter i think of things happening - and a lot of the time it actually happens. just odd things. for instance today i was thinking that i needed a new backpack -because mine started ripping. actually - Mean's started ripping (sorry!). Anyway, i was at work and i saw this promotional backpack and i thought - wouldn't it be nice if someone gave it to me? It was nice looking, black and grey - pockets, zippers, and a hook for..keys? and a little hole in the back to put your headphones through - and it matched my laptop case. It was the last one too. Well 15 minutes before the store closes this lady stops by and buys a pair of sandals and gets the backpack (free gift with ludicrously expensive shoe purchase)- and i am off to the side and i start talking to her about how nice the backpack is - and she asks me if i want it because she doesn't need it. I went around the counter and hugged her. one part gratitude, two parts for rekindling my faith in the human race. then i promptly began brainstorming about an indigo blue, BMW convertible that i saw earlier that day. oh and world peace. 7:25 p.m. - Jul. 29, 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
